Moz

Collage artist Steven Moz creates conceptual narratives to help reflect on the effects of impaired mental health and trauma. These asymmetrical abstractions of cubic architecture allow the audience to visualize Moz's inner turmoil during depressive episodes. His arrangement of shapes and colors is intricately disruptive, overstimulating the eyes as they wander from one point to another. The viewers are given moments where they are able to experience disorientation, a symbolic representation of cognitive instability and physical anxiety.
