My work acts as a vehicle for transformation and transmutation of darkness into light, and aims to take any of my stuck, uncomfortable, anxious, and painful emotions, and alchemize them into something more beautiful, hopeful, and pure. My creative work has always been a powerful tool for personal healing. Currently, I assemble small and delicate mixed media works on paper exploring themes of connection and longing, safety and security, and memories and nostalgia, using my own, original, analog photography.I received my BFA in Photography from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2002. I live and create in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
