Sources of inspiration range from old black and white photographs to contemporary fashion magazines to paintings of Flemish still lifes and David Lynch movies.

The Scissorhands works both analog and digital, her freelance work is almost exclusively analog. The works are often very minimalist and clear, yet they do not strive for perfection.

Often you can find traces of cuts, cracks, irregularities that show the working process as well as the often old material used. At the same time, it is precisely these things that bring the works to life.
