Ian has been making recordings and collaborating with other artists for the past 15 years. He has used violin, trumpet, loops, found sound, field recordings, an MC303 sequencer and guest musicians to recreate the sounds from the inside of his head.

​Some of the work is multi layered and recorded step by step. Some is single take improvised work using an effects unit.

​He can also be found playing jazz violin in TCHA and Avanti.
