Wlad Pieroni’s analog collages are defined by their surreal and unexpected compositions. Through the careful manipulation and layering of found images, the artist invites the viewer to consider the ways we interact with the world and with others. Pieroni’s distinctive perspective and imaginative approach inspires a fresh way of seeing the world we live in.
A designer by training (Faculty of Fine Arts of São Paulo - 1995), [Pieroni] approaches visual arts in 2013 through courses in various techniques, with a focus on collage as his main research language. In 2019 he participated in his first collective exhibition, "Resistências," at Galeria Recorte (São Paulo). In his work, he investigates the deconstruction and appropriation of image as a means of creating new compositions and narratives.
