Analog collage

For Claudio Tiarez, collage functions as a conduit for introspection. Through the act of tearing and deconstructing photographic material, she reconfigures and revitalizes the otherwise inanimate promotional images that permeate her environment. The collage represents an intimate act of defiance and an audacious endeavor to deepen the understanding of both oneself and the world in which we exist.

Collage for me represents a form of meditation, I investigate my emotions and express them through this art in the most intuitive way possible.

Analog collage

Through the analog collage I decided to investigate myself, my deepest soul, through the mystification of the symbols of the modern world where everything is appearance and outward appearance. I tear the cold pages of the newspapers to rework my emotions, I tear apart the sterile advertising images making them acquire a new, more personal and therefore emotional meaning, all of this is experienced by me as a form of internal meditation.
