THE LOVE LETTER, 2022
Digital collage, 50.8 x 61cm

As somebody that’s always enjoyed art in its myriad of forms I have to confess that when it came time for me to express myself there was never a medium other than collage. I knew instinctively that this was the way I would find my voice. I’ve never had a second's doubt about it. I just love its versatility.

TALKS TOO MUCH, 2022
Digital collage, 50.8 x 61cm

The secret to my work is the fact that I know the face or faces beneath my work and that I consciously hide that from the viewer. The connection or rather impulse that drives me to a particular fruit or vegetable is a mystery - even to me. I can say that a faded pinstripe suit and a shiny black shoe could result in a riotous omelet, but I haven’t decided that yet.
