Guillermo Flores constructs collage compositions reminiscent of techniques employed by Max Ernst, in which the intricacies of the source materials are expertly integrated, rendering their origins elusive. These artworks encompass extensive and profound narratives, evoking a sense of timelessness that transcends historical and futuristic contexts.
I think collage is a very novel technique. You can explore and try and create really beautiful things. I think collage comes from the idea of exploring materials and experimented with images that are already there. It’s very easy to approach. Everyone can explore this technique. The final result, it’s going to be great because it doesn’t have rules.
