What began ten years ago as a personal project to expand my visual vocabulary, the collage work quickly grew into its own form of artistic expression, addressing themes beyond the original intent. Working strictly within the parameters of sourcing, cutting and gluing paper to paper, the work questions and dismantles the decision making process as it relates to our own instinctive and learned notions of what it means to make art and see the world.
