Analog collage, 20 x 20 cm

Fanny Garnichat creates works on paper using contemporary photography to comment on the saturation of images in today's world. Through the act of collage, she subverts the original context of these materials to establish a new visual discourse. Her work combines diverse elements in visual alchemy to create a sense of harmony.

Pyramide, Les infinis
Analog collage, 16 x 9 cm

Collage, for me, is an infinite way to interact with images that allows me to create parallel worlds from historical and contemporary narratives.

Michel Ange
Analog collage, 18 x 25 cm

I’m a French artist, and most of my collages are analog. I work with all visual supports that saturate and invade our lives, such as flyers, posters, ads, and magazines. I like to inebriate the gaze in an organic visual wave that questions the limits between repulsive and fascinating. I explore the vibration between images and the contradictions in textures. In my work, poetic and unusual polymorph creatures take life, like living planets suspended in space.
