The works of Pariwat Anantachina encompass an aura of mystery. Focal points within the photographs are removed, obscured, or rendered void. This raw elegance of his cuts and compositions enhance the alluring nature of his practice, inviting the viewer into fabricated memories of desire.
Collages create layers of information for the audience. They are captivating in terms of the dimensions of time, place, and their meanings when they are reinterpreted in another context or surroundings.
Pariwat Anantachina
Pariwat Anantachina is an artist and a book designer who sometimes still yearns to be an architect. He has exhibited his work both locally and internationally. His clients include Google, Agoda, Orlebar Brown, and Rosewood Bangkok. Currently, he is nurturing a publishing house called Arc Press, furtively collecting antiques and doing art gradually yet unceasingly.
