Mello

My artistic expression is intrinsically associated with my education and training in design and architecture. As Modern Architecture—a Movement that mostly influences my work— was generated by Modern Art, my art becomes a continuum of the art-architecture duality. The formal abstract manifestation of my work is guided by organizing systems, regulating lines, grids, and geometry. This way, my artworks are both abstract diaries, works given in shapes and stories, and a memory of time, present and past, as they share fragments of myself and the world around me.
