On further inspection they are more intricate compositions that include text and fine details. Revealing a deep level of thought and self-analysis, accompanied by a broader critique of popular culture and social behavior. His passion for collecting vintage magazines and scavenging for discarded objects, along with his sense of humor, has resulted in a unique aesthetic and vision. As a member of the Sydney Collage Society he has been published in international arts journals and frequently creates commissioned artwork for editorial magazines, skateboard companies and music album covers. Tierney has exhibited his work in solo and group shows internationally, including the USA, Japan, Mexico and Italy.
